About Chesley

Part of the larger community of Arran–Elderslie, the development of Chesley began in the 1850's. It is home to the Chesley Community Park, a picnic pavillion and a community centre that includes a curling rink.

Churches abound in the town meeting most religious needs. Chesley is fully serviced with a medical clinic, local doctors, and a town hospital.

Activities include shopping, a branch of the Bruce County Library, lawn bowling and many service clubs like the Royal Canadian Legion, Rotary and the Lions. It is an easy drive to either Hanover or Owen Sound.

Chesley likes to live its slogan - "The Nicest Town Around".
